Massage Therapy
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, tendons,
ligaments, fascia, etc.) to bring about a neuromuscular response. This response
will bring about a series of changes, which include decreased recovery time from
injury as well as decreased pain, muscle spasms, and hypertension. It is also designed
to increase the flow of blood, as well as increase flexibility, body awareness,
and relaxation.
